P.S. 682 will contain 224 seats for students in kindergarten through second grade. The leased building is a former parochial school and the exterior and interior have been renovated. The facility will include twelve standard classrooms, a classroom for special education, a reading resource room, a science room, an administrative suite, guidance and medical suites, a multi-purpose room, a kitchen, new bathrooms, a parent room, and a staff lounge. The school will open in September 2018 with room for 100 kindergarten students and additional grades will be phased in over the next two years
