Scoping Guidelines
The Scoping Guidelines are intended to provide direction to the designers on best practices for the scoping of many types of Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, as well as certain lease conversions. These are based on SCA experiences and also provide description of what is included in a CIP project category, which is can be difficult to determine from the project description alone. Many of the guidelines also provide recommendations on what to include in the contract documents. The overall goal of the guidelines is assisting the designer in determining the best comprehensive scope for any given project.
