P.S. 298 is a fully air-conditioned, accessible four-story school for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The facility provides two pre-kindergarten classrooms, five kindergarten classrooms, twenty-five standard classrooms, and three district special education classrooms. The school also includes reading and speech resource rooms, an art classroom, science resource and demonstration/lab rooms, and a music suite. There are six District 75 classrooms and rooms for occupational/physical therapy, guidance, and speech. In addition, there is a full kitchen and student cafeteria, a staff lunch room, a teacher workroom, a parent room, and a library. Also provided are administrative, guidance, and medical suites. Recreational spaces include a gymnasium, a gymatorium, an early childhood playground, and a playground for upper grade students.
