The 256 Annex is a three-story, fully air-conditioned, accessible school for District 75 students in prekindergarten through fifth grade. The facility includes eleven special education classrooms, three resource rooms, a physical therapy room, an occupational therapy room and 2 changing rooms. The school also includes a project room equipped with an art sink, a library, guidance suite, medical suite and administrative suite. In addition to a kitchen, the school has a student cafeteria and a staff lunchroom. Recreational spaces include an exercise room, an outdoor early childhood playground and a general playground for upper grade students.
