The P.S. 163 Addition is a five-story, fully air-conditioned, accessible addition for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grades. The addition includes one pre-kindergarten, two kindergarten, twelve standard and two special education classrooms. The addition also contains a music suite, an art room, a science resource room, a new kitchen and cafeteria, and an administrative suite. There will also be an exercise room and a parent room. Improvements to the main building include renovation of several bathrooms and conversion of the principal’s office and administrative space into a guidance office, parent room, and book storage. Outdoor recreational spaces include an early childhood playground and a playground for upper grade students.
