The P.S. 50 Addition is a five-story, fully air-conditioned, accessible addition for students in pre-kindergarten through fifth grades. The addition includes one pre-kindergarten classroom, six kindergarten classrooms, and seven standard classrooms, as well as one special education classroom. The addition also contains two reading resource rooms, two occupational therapy rooms, art and science resource rooms, a gymnasium, a kitchen and a cafeteria, as well as guidance and medical suites. Improvements to the main building include the creation of one additional pre-kindergarten classroom and three standard classrooms, as well as a music suite, library, and an exercise room. Outdoor recreational spaces include an early childhood playground and a playground for upper grade students.
