Fully air-conditioned, accessible school located on the first six floors and cellar of a fourteen story high-rise shared by New York Foundling for students in pre-kindergarten through the fifth grades. The facility provides fifteen standard classrooms, two special education classrooms, and reading and speech resource rooms. The District 75 program has five classrooms, a special education speech room, and an occupational/physical therapy room adjacent to a gymatorium. Specialized instructional classrooms are provided for art, music and science, a library and multi-purpose room. A kitchen, cafeteria and dance studio are on the main floor and a rooftop play area is located on the second floor at the inner court of the building. In addition to a community room above the main lobby, the lower level contains a lecture hall/auditorium that is available for community use. A new glass-enclosed central stairway connects the floors and provide an open, natural lightfilled core area for the students and staff.
