I.S./H.S. 86 is a fully air-conditioned, accessible four-story replacement building for D75 students at the Richard Hungerford School. The new school provides 38 classrooms, three physical therapy rooms, sensory rooms on each floor, a speech room suite, occupational therapy and changing rooms on each floor, and an ADL room. 

The project includes: 

A kitchen and cafeteria 
Culinary art, multimedia and music room 
Library 
Gymatorium, outdoor playground and running track 
Guidance and medical suites
